Today the North Vermilion High School band treated our students to an amazing Christmas concert. Our 5th grade band was able to join them and played Jingle Bells! It was a great day to be a Junior Pat! 🎵🎶🎵
Mrs. Jennifer’s 4th grade ELA classes celebrated their AR success today! Each student was able to shop for various items such as snacks, toys and fun school supplies with their AR points they accumulated so far this year!
Being rewarded for reading is a win!
5th grade students in Mrs. Annie’s ELA class celebrated the end of their novel “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” by designing a tacky holiday sweater that symbolizes the overall theme of the novel. Students really spread the holiday cheer with their creativity and enthusiasm for the assignment! 🎄🦁📖
NVHS Student Council members Ellery Dupuy and Amalie' Broussard were welcomed by all pre-k and kindergarten classes today. They brought Christmas cheer to CPE by reading several Christmas stories to our little friends! ❤️💚

Mrs. Katie and Mrs. Tabatha's classes celebrated finishing the novel Because of Winn Dixie with a Winn Dixie Party! They enjoyed chicken salad sandwiches, dump punch, pickles, litmus lozenges, and popcorn while watching the movie!
During the week, Ms Chelsea’s class took a practice interim test on all math material covered from the start of school until now! Here are the students with the top 3 scores in their class!!

Ms. Chelsea and Mrs. Hannah’s 5th grade scientists created crystal ornaments to discover the solubility of borax and hot water. After a day, they had crystallized ornaments! 🧪❄️

First graders in Mrs.Durbin's class had a “Read In" day to celebrate 80 chain links. Students brought blankets, flashlights, and their favorite book to read. 📚🔦📚
