📚Meet the Author event for 4th grade!📚
Mrs. Jennifer brought her best friend all the way from Texas to inspire all of 4th grade to become writers!!! With her published book "The Gate" Ms. Brandi discussed the journey from ideas, to paper, to published work! We can’t wait to see what our students create after this inspirational message!

⭐️It's almost time for our Book Fair!⭐️

Thank you Mrs. Tara and Mrs. Lisa for the many hats you wear in meeting our students' needs! 🧢🎩👒

After learning about the Westward Expansion, Mrs. Carolyn’s 2nd Graders completed a culminating activity designing and creating quilts. Their work included scenes from The Trail of Tears, Fulton’s Steamboat & the Transcontinental to name a few! Then they blanketed the walls of the hall with their creations!

Students in Mrs. Annie’s 5th grade social studies class led small group instruction this week. Student teachers prepared their own lesson plans, equipped with their own teacher key, higher order thinking questions, and teacher assessment tools. All students were fully engaged and so excited to have their peers be their teacher for the day! The teachers even got evaluated on their instructional practices by their small group students. ♥️

🍀At this month’s 4H meeting, club members worked together cooperatively to stack cups using strings and a rubber band! 🍀

Happy Groundhog Day! Today Mrs. Blaize’s first graders learned all about Phil, and he says that we will have 6 more weeks of winter!❄️

Mrs. Carly’s class had the opportunity to view a real geologist’s fossil collection. Some fossils dated back to almost half a BILLION years old! Students are learning about how fossils can be great clues into learning what environments were like in the past.

Mrs. Nicole’s second graders are having fun searching for different parts of speech in their readers, just like detectives!
