Our Kaplan Pirates made a strong showing today at the BETA Leadership Summit held at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA! Our BETAs had an incredible time connecting, learning, and leading with other chapters across the state. They especially shined in Collaboration Connection, answering an impressive 18 out of 20 questions correctly! We could not be more proud of their teamwork, spirit, and leadership. Congrats to our unstoppable BETAs; you continue to show what it means to be a Pirate! 🏴

It was another GREAT night under the Friday night lights!

Our Pirates came out strong and brought home the victory over the Patriots with a final score of 48-16!

A special thank you goes out to our incredible community for showing up in full force and supporting our kids on such a beautiful evening.

We also want to recognize North Vermilion for their outstanding halftime show and for bringing their Patriot pride with them. It was an honor to host their game while their new turf field is being installed. Thank y'all for being such respectable competitors. We enjoyed hosting this game.

Tonight wasn’t just about the scoreboard. It was about community, spirit, and the joy of coming together to celebrate our kids. Thank you to everyone who filled the stands and made the night so special. Go Pirates🏴‍☠️

At Kaplan High, we don’t just talk about engagement, we live it every day. Our second school goal is all about making learning active and exciting, and today Ms. Katelyn Bares's class showed us exactly what that looks like! Her students were practicing safe and important knife skills in the kitchen, without the sharp edges. Instead, they grabbed Play-Doh, rolled up their sleeves, and had an absolute ball while Ms. Katelyn guided them through the lesson. This week's football game was supposed to be an away game at North Vermilion High School, but their field is not finished, so the game will be held at Kaplan High instead.

-North Vermilion will be collecting tickets at the door NVHS #: (337) 898-1491
-KHS season ticket holders will not be honored at this game. Purchase tickets at the gate.
-Reserved parking will still be honored.
