The faculty and staff of LeBlanc Elementary is so excited to welcome Mrs. De Ette Bigot as our new principal! We are looking for ward to an amazing year ahead for our school community! A message from Mrs. De Ette: I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself as we embark on this journey together. I am married to Kevn Bigot of Erath, and we have a son named Bryce who is 24 years old. I have been in the education system for 27 ½ years. I am a 1991 graduate of Erath High School, but I am a native of Abbeville. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education for grades 1-8 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education. I began my education journey in Iberia Parish for my first ten years and then moved to Vermilion Parish where I served as a teacher at Erath Middle School for twelve years. In the last 5 years, I have served as Assistant Principal at Rene Rost Middle School, Dozier Elementary, and most recently Erath Middle School. I am truly honored to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing an exceptional education to students. Your hard work and dedication have made Leblanc Elementary a place of excellence, and I am inspired by the achievements I have seen. I am grateful for this opportunity and I am confident that together, we will accomplish great things!
